Hope, a black Goldendoodle, helps Mahogany who suffers from PTSD, severe anxiety, fibromyalgia, and depression. Hope provides security, comfort, protection, and energy. Mahogany received Hope from Canine Support Teams.

Hope's Helping Abilities (05:07)

Hope saved Mahogany’s life by jumping on her chest when she quit breathing while sleeping. Mahogany takes Hope to renew her service dog license at a mall; a place that gives Mahogany anxiety. Mahogany can now participate in public activities with her family.

Inmates Train Horses (02:47)

Arizona State Prison has a wild horse inmate program. Inmates train the horses for three to six months before they are put up for adoption. Training the horses gives inmates emotional support.

Jessica and Therapy Horse Honey (03:42)

A miniature American horse helps Jessica with her symptoms of Crohn’s disease. Jessica won Honey with a five-dollar raffle ticket and trained her to help with mobility issues.

Honey's Assistance (05:36)

Honey helps Jessica when she stumbles and is a brace for Jessica to use when she walks. Honey also performs some tasks Jessica cannot. Jessica she helps a friend train a diabetic alert miniature horse.
