This episode will focus on adding transitions to a scene. Graphics and effects add visual interest to scenes. Ollie Kenchington demonstrates how to create fade-ins using handles, cross dissolves, and smooth dissolves.
The shift and down buttons will jump between markers. Kenchington demonstrates how to apply the tilt-shift-blur effect, scaling clips and animating footage. The output blanking menu changes the aspect ratios.
A red dot depicts that the computer is playing a clip that needs to be rendered. Kenchington demonstrates smart caching in DaVinci Resolve.
A constant speed change uniformly alters the speed of the clip. Kenchington demonstrates how to change the duration of a slowed down video. Optimal Intensive is the slowest blend but the best quality.
