Stefan Mengelberg conducts the New York Philharmonic in the first movement of "Concerto in D Minor." Finclair plays the solo violin in the Henryk Wieniawski composition.
Wager performs the speaking role in "Peter and the Wolf." Bernstein describes how each instrument depicts a different animal in the Sergei Prokofiev composition. The next episode will focus on unusual musical instruments.
