College student Cynthia fights depression with the help of Miu. Miu was rescued by Palomacy, a non-profit organization, after her owner passed away. Miu provides Cynthia with emotional support.

Miu's Support (05:14)

Miu does not need to be trained as a service animal. Emotional support animals help with being social, making connections, and comforting. Cynthia heads a fundraiser for Palomacy and she her friend adopts a pigeon.

Therapy Pig LiLou (03:36)

LiLou is the world’s first certified airport therapy pig, and the first non-canine animal from the Wag Brigade. She and her handler walk through the airport to provide comfort, ease anxiety, manage children, reduce stress, and bring joy. LiLou knows many commands, receives positive feedback, and has a social media account.

West and Surfing Dog Ricochet (02:40)

Ricochet is surfing golden retriever helps a pre-teen. Judy, Ricochet’s owner, put her in a program for dogs that help kids with autism. West met Ricochet when he was five and hated the water, but he now surfs with the dog.

Canine Assisted Surfing (04:43)

Ricochet once jumped on a surfboard with a quadriplegic boy; she has since helped countless children. Ricochet is an ambassador for Waves of Empowerment. With Ricochet’s help, West is now a confident surfer who can talk comfortably with others, receive touch, get on a board alone, and help other children learn to surf.
