Meet addicts Harry, Nicole, and Matt; Principal Susan Strong shares her fears. Harry relapsed and nearly died. Nicole has been clean for a year but is disconnecting from her family. Matt has been clean for two months and plays hockey.
Students find the holidays stressful. Harry decided to leave a halfway house and start using; Strong offers to allow him back at school. Matt realizes Harry relapsed; Harry does not return to class the next day.
Approximately 33,000 people died of an opioid overdose this year. Harry returned to using heroin, Matt plays hockey, and Nicole is modeling. Matt and Nicole graduate and Harry tries to stay sober; see an update on the students.
